How do I avoid Stripe holding or freezing my money?
Stripe, like every card processor, likes consistency. If you process a steady volume every month, you have a better relationship with them. If you rarely process anything and then suddenly run a very large payment, such as $50,000, Stripe will probably hold your money, because it is out of pattern for your account.
If you need to take a big payment that is outside your normal activity, have the customer pay by check instead, so you avoid issues on your Stripe account.
